It's hard to tell who is more proud of these service trucks. The team that built them or the customers who own them. Check out these recently completed units for ideas on your next service truck. If you can dream it, we can build it.

Fleet Maintenance's Rolling Billboard!

Withrow Farms Service Truck
This service truck was custom built to help out with heavy equipment maintenance around a farm. This truck will be used to fix agricultural equipment. The extended cab on this Ford service truck will be good when the heavy equipment mechanic also needs to help other people get around the farm.

Gitke Field Service Truck
Greg Gitke decided to strike out on his own...and made the investment in equipment that will last him 10+ years. This is a 2008 Peterbilt 365 with all the bells and whistles. It has a 14' IMT Dominator 2 body color matched to the chassis and an IMT 6025 crane with radio remote. Greg decided to go with an IMT direct drive air compressor that is installed underneath his custom aluminum diamond plate welder deck. On top of his welder deck sits a Lincoln Vantage 400 welder. Greg may be newly self-employed but when this truck shows up at the job, his customers will know that they called a guy who DEFINITELY knows what he's doing.

Combination Mechanic Truck, Lube Truck for Pipeline Contractor
A successful pipeline contractor in the midwest contacted QT Equipment because they needed a combination mechanic and lube service truck and couldn't find an "off the rack" unit that would do the job. This contractor had very specific requirements for products and perimeter storage. They also wanted to get everything on to a 33,000 GVW truck. We fulfilled their request by starting with a 14' IMT Dominator 2 and adding all the capabilities of a full blown lube truck. The finished product is a perfect example of QT's ability to take your ideas and combine it with our expertise to deliver a unit that is exactly what your application calls for.

Fleet Maintenance and Repair
Congratulations to Bill from Fleet Maintenance. They dreamt up a service truck that could handle any road service call problem and look good doing it. The final product is a Peterbilt 335 with every polished chrome option available, a 14' Dom 2 with IMT 6025 crane, Miller 250 Bobcat welder accessible from the first compartment on the streetside. They also added a 12,000 lb winch recessed into the bumper, the largest Goodall Starts-all made, a 75 gallon diesel tank with reel and capped it off with polished aluminum diamond plate rock guards on the front of the side packs. When these guys do something...they do it FIRST CLASS!!

One of the biggest, nicest units we've ever had the pleasure of building. IMT 16 TM crane with 5 hydraulic extensions and winch with fully hydraulic outriggers. 10 Work lights, strobes and a Miller Big Blue 750 amp welder.

HJ DEATON:
This is a custom 19' IMT Dominator II body on a Peterbilt 357 tandem axel. We also incorporated a fishmouth receiver into the workbench bumper for hauling trailers along with a set of glad hands. When this truck shows up at the jobsite, everyone knows help has definately arrived.

Hurricane Cleanup Vehicle
This truck was designed to be a multi-purpose vehicle used to help cleanup after hurricanes. It has an IMT 4TM articulating crane specially modified by QT with a hydraulic winch attachment at the tip. The aluminum bed was designed with sides that drop down making possible to launch and retrieve small boats.
Long Island Concrete
This truck was designed to work along the narrow streets of New York City. It has a special dump body in place of the flatbed for added versatility and a 15/113 Articulating Crane. Everything is radio remote controlled. An Isuzu cab was used mainly for the turning radius. We enjoyed working on this project and glad we could help from several states away.
