IMT Is Updating Their Entire Electric Telescopic Crane Line

On March 18^th, 2009, IMT announced that it will begin producing its entire Electric Telescopic Crane line-up at its main Garner, Iowa facility.  This move will streamline the production of these cranes resulting in shorter lead times.  Along with this move, the entire line-up is being updated based on suggestions from the field.  The most note worthy of these updates are the increase of maximum lift capacity, overall foot/pound ratings, and reductions in crane weights.  Below are the basic specifications on these cranes.

·         2,000 lb max capacity

·         350 lb - 420 lb unit weight

·         12,000 ft/lb at 7.5 feet

·         4,000 lb max capacity

·         545 lb - 635 lb unit weight

·         18,000 ft/lb at 8 feet

·         4,000 lb max capacity

·         659 lb - 750 lb unit weight

·         30,000 ft/lb at 10 feet

·         5,000 lb max capacity

·         1,315 lb - 1,440 lb unit weight

·         38,000 ft/lb at 11 feet
